I have a 92 tracker. The 5 star aluminum kinda swirl rim. Whats the biggest and widest tire that will fit on it? Like.. would 31s fit on it? or would i need new rims?
-
I run 30x9.5" tires on a stock rim without issues, but 31x10.5 might be pushing it.
-
I would expect issues with popping the beads off rather often trying to run 31's on the stock rims.
-
i run 31x10.5s on the 15x5.5 steelies. tread does wrap to the sidewall, makes it nice for wheelin but yes, there is the chance of blowing the bead. 31's need more like a 7 or 8 inch wide rim.
-
OK thanks. I'll just plan on getting new rims when I lift it In A few months..

I run 31X10.5's on OEM Wheels, been doing it for years...
I Like 'Em!

Black Sidekick is 2" body lift and 2" coil spacers with 31's.
Red Tracker is V6 Coils and 3" body lift with 31's.
I like the Black one better, but with the Wheels/Tires from the Red one. ;)
As for the Rims... That's just Spray Plasti-Dip! Do a youtube search. ;)

What are those wheels off of I ment? And do you need wheel spacers to run 31s on stocks?
