Title: New Samurai owner!!!
Post by: 86samurai829 on December 18, 2011, 12:56:27 AM
Just bought this '86 Suzuki Samurai. i wanted to start a project vehicle and have always loved samurai's.

I do have some questions though. When i have my lights on and i step on the brake all of the lights dim, fix for that?

Also when i put the left or right turn signal on my four ways come on, fix for that?

the owner before me had wired his own brake lights so could he have done something wrong that causes both(or one) of those to happen?

First, Welcome !!!!

The Light Problem........
The OEM lights have a separate turn signal circuit/lights.
If he "married" them, you could be having feed back into your lighting circuits!!!
A quick fix is to get a flat 4 pin trailer plug "Adapter Kits" that will get your separate turn signals to
run a standard trailer 2 light system.
Follow the mfg wiring diagram, then hook up the lights that "He" made.

Hope this works.......
