Title: 87 Sammy Fuse Box "Legend"?
Post by: Capt on December 31, 2011, 01:14:48 PM
Ok, besides my interphase for photos problem.....

On the last miles of our WV Safari, Lora plugs her phone charger into the Ciggy Butt Lighter outlet
and it blows the fuse.
So I's look up the "Fuse Block" in what's left of a owners manual in the glove box. It says "Fuse Locations are on Cover".
Well being the 3 or 4 owner since it's been off the boat, I's got no cover !
Track into the house, hit the laptop as I downloaded a True Factory Shop Manual years ago via "ZukiBoys",
It just shows a semi wiring diagram with all the fuses in a straight row.  So track back out side, get out the test lite and
find the blow fuse. Replaced, a little alignment of the ceramic center of the Ciggy Butt innerds, and that shouldn't
be a happen'n again.

Thanks for reading on so far; what I am looking for is:
                A) the fuse locations in the Fuse Block for future reference
                B) the possibility of  a Fuse Block Cover  ;D
                C) a 1987 Sammy Owners Manual (Will settle for a reproduction copy)

I have a somewhat tattered, but complete '87 Owner's Manual.  Would you like me to attempt a scan for you?

This one's from an '86 - maybe it's the same.

144man; Thank you for offering, but it sounds like the one I have, and I don't
want the "Dead Sea Scrolls" to really fall apart as you pull the staples to scan it.
If it won't wreck it TOO Bad, send it via PM so I can print it out.

Fordem, Excellet pix !! I printed it off and will save it, Thank You

Tux, I'll give them a call tomorrow about a cover & Manual

I'll throw some points your way guys!!

144man,
Thank You, down loaded the manual.
I think the coffee hadn't gone to work yet when I started.
I thought you "Pulled" the staples, took it apart, scanned it, sent it......(first image open cover)
So I printed Odd Pages 1st, then Even Pages next, and my brain was having a
Hell of a time putting the pages in order before it sunk in, .....you scanned it in book form.
NO WORRIES, It's all in order, 2 pages per sheet side, put it in a presentation slip cover w/ binding
and it's in the Timber Cruiser's glove box.
ALSO TO NOTE; on page 67 is the fuse box legend. Mine does not have the last 5-6 pages. the whole back
of mine looks like the mice got to it!!!

AGAIN THANKS FOR ALL THE WORK TO SEND IT!!

No problem.  If anyone else wants the full manual, just send me an email.  It will come in two parts, as pdfs.  Each one is about 13M, so clear your in-box before requesting it.

Glad I could be of some help.
