Title: size gears from stock

i have a 94 tracker 16 valuve Jap. made. i was told that is 4:10 gears is thos true. a shop told me this. i was just wondering if this is true.

stick or auto?
Sticks have 5:12
autos have Like 4;13s

The most common gear sets are 4.63:1 for the automatic and 5.12:1 for the manual tranny model; most likely you have one of those two ratios depending on tranny. I don't believe Suzuki has ever put a 4.10 ratio in anything...

Brian, is your Auto in a 4 Door with overdrive? If so, that model is the exception to the rule of Autos coming with 4.63's.
