Title: weber carb

I put a weber carb on my 1.3 and I installed a pressure reducer and set it at 3.5lbs.  I could not get any fuel through the reducer.  I removed the reducer and it ran.  Will I run into problems doing this?  Is there an easy fix.

i have run a pressure regulator with my weber.
i set at 2lbs and had no problems( i think 3.5lbs is on the high side?).
mine was a simple empi brand regulator- cheap with bad reviews, but years of use is ok with me.
currently i am running just the stock mechanical pump(no regulator) with no problem.
what kind of regulator are you using?
