Title: swaping 1.6 16 valve into 88.5 samurai ?'s has any one done this

does it matter what motor g16a or what not?
     
long block or short block?           
   
somewhere to buy a motor near Greenville sc cant seem to find one?

any sugestions or tips?
 
all i know that i need engine adaptor kit, high pressure fuel pump, and modification of donor harness, as we as modification of the spedometer ill prob order a kit from trailtough just not sure about the motor  either a crate motor of a junkyard motor so i can build it for highperformance

there are MANY good writeups on both the 8V and 16V swaps.  Just enter 1.6 swap into the search line above and start reading.  I'm guessing you haven't got much response because this is one of the most common questions asked and there is so much info freely available on this forum and others...
