what can make the radiator fliud push back into the resover ?
-
Overheating. Or a blown headgasaket. Or just normal coolant expansion, when it gets warm.

not overheating just pushing water into resover how can u tell if blownhead gasket the oil look normal
-
With the engine cold, pull the radiator cap off and start the engine. If you see bubbles in the coolant, then the headgasket is leaking.

i have a 86 ford with a 460runs great never over heats but turn it off give it a minute and here comes the water fall. its a blown head gasket no bubbles with the cap off but turn it and the cylinder pressure bleeds in to the coolant and pushes out the water
