OK so like it says, how much HP and tq till the stock Rearend POPS. 95 tracker 4x4. I'm in the process of dropping in the 4.3L/4L60E and I don't want to have to swap axels. With what little work on the 4.3 I have done I'm guessing its around 220hp crank. I'm sure it can handle this for a good while but I'm guessing a Turbo or wet shot would be making +/-350hp and probably pop real quick. What do you guys think and what experience do you have with these? Thanks guys.

It really depends on how you use the extra hp. My 2.7 stats are 185 hp, and lit up 30x9.5x15 when I wanted to, and was tested frequently at first (I don't test it very much now). I am going to 33's and hope to continue with a nondestructive combination. You can bust equipment with 36 hp and jamming through obstacles, it will be easier with 220 hp.

ONE GOOD HOLE SHOT...and your done..Look for a 44 from a cj5 71 and later / close to the same width will handle the hp / not a tough swap / readily available....Boxcar...

Your welcome...Hey they run them in the Viper , The vette, Ford 1 tone fronts, Jeeps , etc etc etc . The list is long and impressive...Nice short pinion (unlike the 9") pre 71 CJ5 will be offset to the passenger side post 71 will be centered .
71 and later will also have the 11 brakes... I recomend trussing the tubes for anything over 35s....
A couple of years ago I compiled a list of lengths corresponding to the rigs they were run in . I will look for it and post later
