I need a pitman arm(stock no drop) from a 96 with power steering. I am converting a 91 2dr 4wd japan from man steering to power and destroyed the pitman arm from the donor (96 cam 2dr 4wd) I live in Calgary Canada and have nearly ran out of options as this part is not stocked as it is not a wear item

You can use a pitman arm from any Tracker or Sidekick, but a junk yard is probably going to be your best bet. If nothing else, give Trail Tough a call. They got a lot of Hawk Suzuki's old stock so they might have one in stock.
They are a pain to take off, just a warning. :)

The pain taking it off I figured out...had the 12 ton press flexed and crying...i guess there is a tool for that job. I plan on getting arm box and the whole kit from self serve wrecker to avoid that trap. Thanks for the help tho

Nope, no tool. Just your 12 ton press. :)

Only PS arms fit PS boxes and only non-PS arms fit non-PS boxes.
A pitman arm puller works pretty good at removing the arms. The ones that have the bolts that tie the 2 puller arms together is the best one to use. Smack the side of the pitman arm (around where it is on the shaft) a few times with a big hammer, then put the puller on. You can use a little bit of heat, but you have to be real careful not to heat up the shaft too much and damage the shaft seal.

I thought the power and manual boxes had the same splines on the pitman arm. That isn't the case?
