Title: GEARS FOR THE MUD??

               Trying to decide what what gears would be best for my sami .Im mainly in the mud,water,hills,ect so i really dont need

                 anything to low. Im running 30'' maxis buckshot mudder  with  2'' calmini springs  any advice would be appreciated

4.8:1 or 5.8:1 gears would do well for you.

You can check out how your ratio would change compared to stock using a Transmission Calculator.

Just use 30in for your tire size.  The Samurai is an SJ413, most of the aftermarket transfer cases are pre-built into the application.
