I don't want to lift my 87 Samurai any suggestions on suspension? Also plan to run slightly smaller tires, right now it's got 255/60/15s on it but I want to run some all terrains, I really like the yokahama geolander A/T-S tires, ran em on a Toyota pickup. It's gonna be my daily driver and I like going camping and I like getting up in the woods and down by the river so I know I don't need any lift for where I go. Planning to do an engine rebuild along with a new exhaust and most likely going with the Toyota carb "conversion". Also found some stock rims just waiting to hear back on how much I can get them for.

Sounds like a great plan....And I might add , inexpensive........
I'd go with a good set of Bilsteans, New bushings all around.
And probably call it good....
The Yota carb is a great upgrade.... Opening up the exhaust will help it spool.

As to the stock wheels. I have oddly enough never owned a set (Zuke that is) so I can't help you there...
Have fun...Boxcar...
