Title: Speedo Cable Help
Post by: CodyB on February 17, 2012, 01:33:37 PM
I pulled my dash out of my 93 tracker and found that all of the wiring was coated in this black sludge.  After doing a little more investigation I discovered that oil was being pushed up the cable tube.  It also has a slight leak around the transfercase where the cable gears are located. This has me puzzled on why it is doing such a thing. Is there a seal that might be out or something? Any help will be appreciated.  ???
