Title: GEtting ready to start a complete resto

Hey everyone,

Im new to the samurai game but i am getting ready to rebuild an 88 samurai. Any recommendations on types of motors i should be looking for. I have the 1.3L now, but I'm gonna take it out and put in a bigger motor. I am looking to spend about a 1000 to buy the motor. ANyone have any recommendations what to look for? Also, i have been reading about the different rears ppl switch out of these. ANyone have a good recommendation as an affordable rear, that will allow to take on anything the trails in jersey throw at me. Any help would be Appreciated, thanks for reading

1.6L 16V sohc and trans(with TT tailshaft adaptor) from a sidekick, you should be able to find a very decent running tracker or sidekick with a shot body for around 400$ or so.
