So last wedensday I went wheeling with my track, and a friend of mine in his jeep. We both ended up getting stuck pretty bad, mine more so than his, so we finally get his out, and left my rig on the mountain. The weather man said an albeqerque low (bad storm) was coming in thursday night so I called all the local clubs to try to find help quick. The only one I could gather up was a local four wheel parts worker. So we headed up late thursday night ,in 2 feet of snow with his jeep on 38's and managed to break his rear end, and his three day old whinch. Snow was fallin bad and we stayed in my tracker. Like jackass retards that we are we brought no food or water, and were wearing jeans and light jackets. So I woke up thursday morning in the dark to relize that the tracker had a 6ft drift on it. So we began to hike out at 5:00 in the a.m. still dark as hell, we hiked in hip deep snow for 4 miles, that took us until noon that day. We were within a 100 yards of the main road when I spotted a search and rescue snow cat coming are way. Hallelujah. We both suffered minor frost bite on our toes, fingers, and onthe backs of our elbows. Now comes the fun part. It got warmer the following monday, so we headed up on foot prepaired this time and started to dig out both rigs. We dug all day monday and tuesday with no luck. Wedensday came and I had to work, so he called some of his local buddies and got both rigs out. Mine was a sled hooked to a tow strap the whole way out. While I was at work he took my truck to a local buddy's house. So i called him and told him I would give him 200 in cash for his help, out of good faith. He then replied 1000 cash or i don't ge my truck back. So me being the little smart as 18 yr. old that I am called my grandpa told him the situation, and he said come by and get "old faithful", which is one sick as .44 magnum, so I did. I told the guy who had my rig to take it to four wheel parts wholsalers, his work, that I had the money, and would meet him on his lunch break. Holding my truck ransom was the wron f#ck|removethispart|@ng idea. So he said give me the money. I said fu$k yourself pulled out old faithful and he handed me my keys like a gentlemen. He then proceeded to cry like a bitch praying that I didn't kill him. Now I am crazy but I can' t go fourwheeling behind bars, so I made him go tell his boss, and come to find out he was getting fired for lifting parts from work, and he also ran a chop shop. The cops came and took him and me away, I posted bail later that night. And was set free with a slap on the wrist, while on the other hand he is already facing 68 counts of grand theft aut and counting. What a happy ending huh. Got my zuk back for free.

Heh. That was a pretty good read. Glad to hear you got your Zuke back! ;)

Wow that’s pretty intense man.
Glad to hear you and your truck are ok.
A lot of things could have gone wrong in a situation like that. Be thankful that you walked away unscathed.

Let me think.
Stealing someones car. Crime
Extorting money to get their own car back. Crime.
But the Law always sides with the Criminal not the Victim.
Go figure ???
As for Me. Anybody messes with My Tracker, Won't do it Twice!

Not sure about you, but my insurance agent is Smith & Wesson. Always on call, no deductibles, rate increases, and never on vacation. I simply dial .357 and he always answers. I have not had to call him as of yet but I know with six assistant agents in his cylinder by the name of TCJHP, the agents can do the job and then some.
His agent in training is called 9mm. He brings two pre ban magazines to the fray along with the factory 15 rd unit and I know I can always count on 45 (46 including one up the pipe) rounds of firepower to do the job. The 45 junior agents are JHP. They look very attractive in their nickel coated cases with shiny copper heads!.
IN case those two cannot fill the bill, I have two backups.
One is Agent Benelli, AKA spaghettit gun. He packs 12 ga power in a nice slick handling package. All it takes ia a "rack" of the slide action dual action bars and perpetrators take off.
His backup is agent Winchester, 1300 model in 20 gauge. Minus the magazine plug, this rascal can hold 7 rounds of 20 ga ammo, 000 buck shot and will shuck hulls faster than you can say "Ass on fire" he's an oldie but a goodie and what he lacks in polish and new technology he more than makes up for it with reliability and good patterning.
These are my insurance agents. Look for them in your local yellow pages.

Umm, and you can fit ALL those under the drivers seat??? ;D
All kidding aside, that just wasn't right, bad enough the creep was stealing parts, but a whole Zuke???? Glad to hear no one got hurt, and you got your Zkue back in one piece.

Heh heh heh.....not anymore.
Also in my arsenal of agents, I used to own Agent Mossberg 835. He was a grumpy old salt and often liked to "yank" the policy just when I needed it most. Especially during grouse season. The agent's recalcitrance made a followup shot nearly impossible.
Agent Mossberg 835 was "dismissed" nearly two years ago. His replacement is Agent Benelli.
Gone but not forgotten is Winchester model 67 single shot policy. Good, cheap, but very limited in firepower. Premiums were very cheap though, about 99 cents for 50 "claims".
Also departed from my storehouse of insurance agents is my Ruger 22 pistol. He felt better off insuring dear old dad and that is where his 10 round magazine, blue steel finish, and sweet accuracy reside. Dad likes the "dead on" policy and the low premiums.
Finally, Agent Marlin Model 70 Glenfield is insuring dear old dad (along with Agent Mossberg 500 persuader) and although Agent Marlin seldom bags squirrels, he is always ready at the helm to counteract squirrels that walk on two legs. His accuracy is second to none but his "policy power" is limited by the 7 shot magazine.

You should try Agent Barrett! With him you get a lifetime membership in the .50 cal club! Where their motto is "Why run? You'll only die tired!" (http://forum.htmlfacile.net/images/smilies/gun_sniper.gif)
But then, he isn't the cheapest agent to acquire the services of!

What's nice about my insurance agents is that no matter how many "claims" I file, the premiums never increase. ;D
