Title: tt rock block

have an opportunity to pick one of the rock blocks up for really cheap from a buddy any info on these how well they work and whats it compared to gearing the tcase

It doesn't drop the ratio like lower transfer case gears do, it is more like giving you a two-speed transfer case.  A buddy runs one and has been happy with it, the two issues have been the original location of the breather tube being in the wrong spot on the case causing it to spit oil all the time and not having the u-joints lined up exactly introducing some vibration.  Drilling and tapping a new spot for the breather fixed the one problem and the other is pretty minor for a trail rig.
