Title: Left tail lights not working. 87 samurai

My left tail lights and side markers are not working.  The right ones work fine.  I checked the fuses, bought another tail light assembly.  Still no luck.  I finally used a jumper from the right side to the left side and the tail light and side lights worked.  After 3 days and rain, the fuses blew.  Any help will be appreciated.

Worked to try to fix for a couple of hours today.  Took the rear bumper off.  Traced the wiring harness to the front.  No noticable frays in the wiring.  At my wits end. Help!!!

This pretty much points to a problem within the wiring harmess

And so does this.

Open the harness up or take it to an auto electrician - if you've traced the harness to the front, removing it and "untaping" it should not be a that much of challenge
