Title: ? for Mike Hagen
Post by: cj on April 29, 2004, 06:54:11 PM
Mike, in the article on building stronger CV's you said the following;

My personal rig is running donors out of the left front of a 95 Nissan Maxima V-6 5 speed without antilock. This shaft is much more difficult to build, but it has the ability to droop further at the inner joint

How much more droop/increase in operating angle do you get?

 ??? I dont know exactly. Just to be clear I was talking about the difference between the Ford shaft and the Maxima shaft, I dont think the Maxima shaft droops any further than the stock Trackick shaft. However the Maxima shaft is stronger than the stock just because of its mass.

Thanks Mike, I'm trying to find a way to increase the amount of travel I can get out of the IFS and was hoping this may have helped.
