Hey guys, after reading thru a lot of topics on here, I noticed a lot of people specifying their model (SJ###) and i realized i have no idea what mine is. Could any of you tell me from looking at it? Or did they only make one type in 1987?
here's a pic if it helps:

That should be a SJ-413. The 410 had a 4 speed, smaller axles, 970cc 4cyl engine and lower gears. Some other minor differences but those are the main ones. The SJ-413 was named the Samuria in most markets. :)

Don't think that's quite right, mine is a 5-speed! Are there any pictures or anything i could post to make this easier for you guys? Would a picture of the engine help to determine the model?

That Looks like an SJ413 Samurai to me. The SJ410 had a metal grill up to around 1998 and didn't have the flares or the raised bonnet line.

I meant to say 413 earlier. No idea why I said 10... :)
