need some advise on where to snorkel my exhaust? im trying to figure out how to run my exhaust for high water, as some of you already know i have a 91' sammy with a 11" lift and a ford v8 302 HO under the hood well partially
any ideas on routing it for the pipe for high water?
-
the muffler on my Willy's has the pipe going through it all the way for strength and has a three bolt flange on the end of the tail pipe to bolt the snorkel to. you will have to brace the snorkel some how? my Willy's has a bracket with a pin in it.

so yours is running out the rear? im really just trying to decide where to run the pipe out at.
-
I don't have the pipe but it did have one at one time and it looks like it just went up at the back corner, It has a plug to go into the bell housing and the vac stuff on the carb. (maybe pressure for the dist cap?) if you have the front pipe also.

I dont know what he is worried about because i haven't seen him put it in anything over the frame yet!!! lol

well over the frame would be over your head so it would be hard for u to get a close look

Just flip your headers upside down. Straight through the hood! :D
