Just ordered a 2" coil spacer lift for my 95 dr tracker and want to replace my old and tired factory coil springs on the cheap. Can someone who has officially installed Vitara springs on a 2dr chime in and tell me what combo of vitara springs to use on the front and rear and how much additional lift it will achieve? I tried searching and found a few threads but it seemed most people were guessing and didnt know exact. Thanks everyone.

i have a 90 2dr with 03 grand vitara v6 coils front and rear. front is 3 inches and rear is closer to maybe an inch. i have spacers here to level it out though.
rear coils are a snug fit, if i were to do it again i would have either swapped in jeep grand cherokee rears or just went stock with a spacer.

So the fronts added 3" of lift and the rear added 1 plus you added a 2" spacer. Do the spacers that come with our lift kits fit the vitara coils in the rear? Also, what do you mean by "snug" fit and what do the grand cherokee coils do for us in the rear?

The Grand Cherokee rear coils in the rear of your 2dr will give you about 2 1/2" of lift total and fit well. I you combine them with either 91 - 94 Ford Ranger/Explorer front springs or the GV V6 from springs, you will get about a full 3" of lift with out any coil spacers at all.

On the front you can't use both the Grant Vit springs AND a coil spacer, you will be lifted to high and start breaking CV's. If you want to run that tall you will need a front diff drop.

im adding 2 inch spacers to the rear only. to level it out with the front.
