Title: Just install 2" spacer lift and front end higher...
Post by: WVzuk on March 19, 2012, 06:28:21 AM
The front is about an inch higher than the rear.  I did use the 1.5" spacer on the front and the 2" on the rear.  It wasn't like this before.   The truck looks to sag towards the back now.  It is the urethene kit from lowrange.  Will it settle?
Have any of you guys experienced this?

Yes it should settle in a little. The camber is way off just after lifting it so the front sits higher. Drive it a few days and see how it does.

Ok thanks.  I did slot the upper holes where the hub bolts to the strut and pushed the hub inward as far as it would go which is about 1/8 to 3/16 inch.  That made a visible improvement in the camber.  I'm not overly concerned, just wait for it to settle.

BTW I think every 4door should be lifted a couple inches.  It made a world of difference over the water breaks and creek beds around here.  The 2doors are prolly ok in that department but the 4doors really benefit from it.
