Title: Hanma 4x10w CREE spot module
Post by: talonxracer on March 27, 2012, 10:03:52 AM
Well the DHL guy delivered the rest of my lighting today. To augment the 120W flood light bar from Hanma, I decided their HML1640 would be perfect.

These aluminum die cast modules have four 10w CREE LED's and is approx 4.25"x4.25" and have two mounting options, either the bracket at the bottom, or a pair of flat plates attached to the rear of the module.

These lights are advertised as 3200lm at 6000K and available in 25 and 40 degree lights. I got the 25 degree spot lamps and plan to mount them on the roof(Rally hardtop) on either end of the flood bar.

and with both types of mounting installed

I will make up a set of pig tails with alligator clips to take some night shots later this evening.

I like the alternative mounting tabs for a flat mount.  While not adjustable it makes it easy to put on a flush surface.

Any lights , or anything else for that matter, mounted to my roof would last approximately 1 ride. The trees must be pretty tall out there.

Well I rearranged the spot modules from being slung under the pushbar to above the pushbar. This places them just about even level with the stock headlights. And it does put down a better beam pattern than when mounted down low.

Here is the spots only when slung under the pushbar, they need a little aiming in this pic, but still reach far further than the Silverstars.
