I made these this past weekend. Just wanted to post em up here. I don't get on this site much. These are my first ones built. I hope everyone enjoys.

Did you build the rock sliders too?
The only draw back I can see to "Tube Doors" is they don't hold water back real well when you Submarine your Sammy.
Pix, the water line is just below the right wiper blade, can't see the hood, made the whole 500 ft!!
the only water came in thru the "Fresh Air Grill" thru the heater and onto the passenger floor!!
GOT LUCKY?!! Just not smarter, Ran thru again on the way out.....
Lucky, Lucky AGAIN...Made the 500ft out.

good eye.... yeah, i made those too. very simple. thats crazy about the pit! as for water .... i slip the stock doors for times im going to be in mud/water.
i went wheeling with a crew in a river bottom, and water was minimal. i had the stock doors off, top off, and the windshield down, and thought that some tube doors would make me "feel" better. i like em pretty good. they use stock latches and hinges so they slip on and off very quickly. plus there NO RATTLE.
