Im looking at getting some better tires for off road for my 95 Tracker. I like BFG tires I have had couple sets. Any other MT tire out there?
My tracker is setting stock right now would the 235/75R15 clear and not rub?

got a set of wrangler territories on mine right now in the same size. nice on the highway which is good for a mud tire.
also run a set of 31" kumho m/ts really nice offroad but road noise is bad on the highway.
ive had a look at some kaltire brand m/t's and they look aggressive and the price isnt that bad.

Thanks for the suggestions Mike
I will look into those
Do you know if 235/75R15 will be any problem setting stock on a Tracker?
-
been said several times around the forums. yes they fit. they do end up rubbing the frame at full turn on the frame behind the front axle. either adjusting the steering stops to limit the steering angle or just not cranking your steering wheel over that last 1/8th of a turn gets rid of it.
ive had mine on 235's for 4 years. no steering adjustment. i just deal with that little less steering. it hasnt made it any worse of a truck on the trail, i still am more manoeuvrable then the other guys.
i swapped my tires over to a family members sidekick for a while too and i told them about the rub and took them out for a drive to show it to them and they had no problem with it.

I've got 800 miles on some Nexen MT roadions and couldn't be happier.
Total came to $460 mounted, lifetime balancing, and warranty from Walmart.

I've been looking at these tires for a while and have been wondering what people's opinions are. I've read a few reviews and they've all been positive. I've currently got BFG A/Ts on my Sidekick (235/75/15), and they only rub at full flex (2" BDS lift). However, I'm seriously considering MTs next time I buy tires.
Any pics of the Nexens?

The close-up is of my rear tire and I've got 833 miles on it and no signs of wear.
Only things that bother me is they can feel like they float on gravel roads and rocks hutting the wheel wells. Other than that, I slow crawl through mud holes that I used to need a running start at.

Good Luck wearing out the BFG A/T's!
They last Forever! :)

I've been to the bottom of my headlights two days in a row and haven't had a tug yet.
Soaked my Tps but other than that I've had great luck..
I'm extremely happy with my nexens.

15x7 U.S. Wheel Style 37 with 3.75" backspacing.

I know! I actually bought them used. It looks like they'd seen quite a bit of gravel road use when I got them (tread blocks were quite chewed up). Perhaps I should've said IF the tires ever wear out!
djjz -- thanks for the pics. Those are the first pics I've seen of the tires actually on a vehicle. Look good, and it's good to hear you like them.
