Hi there
I am a newbie that's been looking at your site for a while.
I am from the UK and was just wondering on if you could help me as you guys and girls over there are more into taking the things apart etc than the guys over here.
I have a Suzuki vitara (I believe you call it a sidekick over there) soft top and my rear lights are in the bumper and one of them is cracked but not majorly and I was wondering on how you would be able to get the lense out to change it as I have had a look and I cant see.
I need to know this as my mot is due later this month and it might fail on this.
All the help will be appreciated!!
Many Thanks
Steve

If the lights are in the bumper it might be aftermarket. Does it have a rubber seal around the light? If so you just pry it out using a screw driver.
Can you post up a picture of your rear bumper?

Hey thanks for the reply.
Just remember tho I am in the UK (England) so its normal over here and not aftermarket and as soon as I can get a pic of the bumper I will put it on here
Cheers steve

Yea, but the Vit's still had the lights on each side of the tailgate held on with two screws on the bottom. So it might have a one-off setup.

UK market Vitaras & first generation Grand Vitaras have the tail lights in the bumper - this is done to comply with local law - the lights in the body are usually just a rear fog light on the right hand side
There are probably two screws holding the lens in - at least that's how it's done on the Grand Vitaras.
Edit.
On second thoughts - and after looking at the parts manuals - you may have to go from behind the bumper to get them out.
