OK guys I just bought these tires but the front wont fit. >:(I was thinking of buying the calmini 3" susp. lift and I need to know if they will clear. I now have some home made spring spacers which yield about 2" of lift. the tires are tsl 30x10.50 w/2.75" back spacing need help.
thanks

i had to trim on the back of the front fenders ;D ;D ;D ;D
-
I rolled around on my 33's for a few days after I did my body lift and was waiting for my Calmini 3" suspension lift. It did require a bit of cutting and hammering to turn the wheels all the way without rubbing, though.
-
well,I have 3" Calmini susp.lift,3 " Calmini body lift and two days ago I replaced the 30X9,5X15 Yokohama Geolandar M/T with 31x10,5x15 Fedima Extreme(retreaded).
http://www.fedima.gr/site2/prod4x4.html
The Fedima Extreme is like the Yokohama with the outer teeth are bigger.I had some rubbing to the front bumber (when wheels are turned) as well as to the back of front fenders.I cut the stock bumber a bit and did a bit of cutting to the fender. Now its o.k. Ah...the Fedima are on 15x8 rims,3".
-
GRVIT, How did you like the Yokohama M/T? I've been looking at them and have heard some good things.
-
The Yoko Geolandar M/T 's are very good.Soft and not heavy(important).Better than BF or GYear when it comes to weight and softness.I would put now the 31x10,5x15 Geolandar instead of the retreaded ones but since its summer ahead I didnt want to use  now so expensive tires. Most possibly I will put them on after October.
They have good grip even on ice.The fact that they are soft helps in this case.At last I ve done aprox 10.000 miles with them (rocks,mud,e.t.c) ,they lost aprox 0,15" of rubber. And I never had a flat tyre.
-
i have a calmini 3" body lift and i use to run 31 swamper ltb with a little trimming.
-
WOW those retreads are sick! i'd almost give up my swampers for those.

Is anyone running a tire that is big enough to take you off road or are you all just going a little bigger than stock. I was looking for some people with bigger meats under the fenders.

well  ,yes sorry. For the Fedima Racing Tires (made in Portugal) try this link
http://www.recauchutagem31.pt/gbhtml/home_gb.html
The Fedima Partner is like the Extreme, except the fact that the first is considered to have stronger sidewalls.Basically, they are the same.Pricing is good.
Hope this helps.

??? My 205x75x14s took me everywhere for a while... :P I was just short on ground clearance... So gradually... over a few years...

..... but what about Mike? He's running.. I think... 35's?

But... I have seen some serious crap with smaller tires...

...So what do you mean by running tires "big enough" to take you off road? It's all the state of mind ;D

Ground clearance, approach and departure angles are not a state of mind, but a harsh reallity. I like the solid axle what axles is that 4 door running?

No, none of us would ever even THINK of taking our rigs off-road. I'm running Goodyear Wrangler MT/R's in 31 X 10.50-15's for my trips to the mall.

Yeah, the Golden Crack was not as difficult, as I was led to believe - thanks to some coaching from Mike! I take the Lions Back to the movie theater...

BTW, Thanks Heather for putting all my pics up on your site!!!

Its not the size of your tires that count.
Its the size of the skidplates. ;D
And how much scrapping noise your willing to ignore :D

Thanks for the pics of Lions back. My Mom and Dad go south every year and were in Moab the week before the jeep safari. I needed a good picture to show them where they can take the duramax next year.
