We were called out for the first time today. Lost snowboader. A problem I was suspecting would happen did. We don't have enough room for all the hot pots and number of lunch bags we needed. For one meal, we had to make two trips up and down the mountain.
As I see it, we have two options. Pull a small trailer (Not what we would want to do) or go to a Warrior or Wilderness style roof rack (Prefered option). Height isn't a problem in our application. As a norm, we will be on the logging and skids roads.
Our Sami is a soft top. Does anyone have a rack they are not going to use? Would you be willing to part with it for a decent price.?
One of the guys talked about building one. He seems to forget he is dealing with a pastor not a mechanic or fabricator. How about an easy to follow set of plans?
Oh yea, the boarder was found. He took a left into a closed area and got turned around.
Thanks for your imput.

Glad you found him :D
There are Racks that would fit a reciever hitch or mount on top of the rear spare.

Woo has those that mount on top of the spare? The trailer hitch is the u-shaped that a ball mounts into. Seems to sit very low. It isn't mounted on the Sami.
