Hello Guys, just want to let you know you did it!!!
you spoke we listened..
Rampage Products Introduces: Replacement Plus, Samurai soft top with zip out windows.
We just received our first batch of Samurai Soft tops with ZIP OUT windows.
The top is available in Diamond Black (just like the new Jeeps) Material and tinted windows. I will try to post a list of retailers that will stock it. Meanwhile if you need one you can email me and I will suggest a retailer or contact you local shop and ask for it.
Thanks for all your input, we really do appreciate the Suzuki families/owners

That's pretty cool! :)
-
Nice!
Now SideTrackers too? ;)
-
I'm debating on one of those.Petro Works has them on their site.I think it was an introductory price of $245.

LOL.... I think I whould get a Promo / Prototype top from y'all ... My guess is that you have sold severaal of your Rampage Tops for Samurai's after my posting / reviews / threads on ZukiWorld, ZuWarrie, ZukiKrawlers about your GREAT products.
I have thought they were the best of the tops I have purchased over the years. As brought up in the different forum threads the only drawback I had was that at the time you didn't produce a zip out side window so the top became more versatile. Nothing is better that having the ability to go from a full soft top to a Safari top.
Oh well, I guess I will just hafta wait for my present Rampage top to get old / hard / and cracked before I buy another one. (That should take forever and a day....)
Now .... Let see if ya are listenin....
Get busy and make some SADDLEBAGS!!! That way I can take the ones I have made for JEEPS out made by those "OTHER" Guys..... ;D
Ya see Samurais don't have mooch space so some nice velcro on - velcro off bags that attach to stuff like roll bars are pretty nice features.
I can show ya but let's see "If Ya Hear Me Now.... "

Sweet.... Give me a day or so and maybe the Sun will return. If it does I will peel back my top and shoot a couple of photos. If not I will try to get ya some with the top on from the inside....

I was talking to BRD HNTR about making a saddlebag setup for his Tracker to store items. Weird. :)
Currently he has this really cool rear storage that clips onto the inside of the tailgate. But that needs to be replaced by a bow mount for hunting season. I'll make him post some pictures up as it would be pretty cool if someone could make a similar setup.
-
Here is what I presently have in my Tracker and it is a pretty slick set up. It mounts on a track similar to the way the front of Sammi tops are. It has one large pocket (with an end snap closure) that goes across behind smaller pockets. (I keep an axe, and a bow saw in this.) The three large pockets also has a single flap cover that snaps down. (I keep tree saver in one, a tow rope in another, gloves and another tow strap in the third.) There are two smaller pockets below each of the three large pockets, which holds other recovery gear. This set up could be a little wider for the Kickers, but would probably be a direct fit for the Sammi's. I got it for hauling a rolled Tracker of a mountain for one of my nephews.
I would like to see something similar that would fit on the sides of the Kickers over the wheel wells. I am sure that many would appreciate something similar to what I have. I would include some snaps at the bottom to keep it in place, as I hear mine swinging on steep decents.

I would like to see something similar that would go on the Tracker/Kickers side panel here.

Thanks for sharing the pics! I can definitely say that I would buy a side and tailgate storage system simiar to that or a hardened storage case over the wheel wells.
**Edit** I do like the Rampage tops too! I plan on getting one after I get my roll cage in.

Maybe by the time you get the roll cage in they will have a Kicker top with the zip out windows.
My top has shrunk enough that I am going to have to replace it before winter, so I am hoping they come out with one for us.
I just finished my roll cage.

Sorry for not repling sooner but I have been away. I did get the pictures of the saddlebags taken. I will get some new batteries and try to get them posted today.
BRD HNTR - I like that rear tailgate pad. Is that a OEM tracker option?
-
Allrite I finally bought some batteries for the camera and downloaded the pics... These are CJ7 Saddle bags. They fit into the triangular portion of your main rollbar to the smaller downtube cross brace that runs to the tub. They Velcro around the bars and have a Velcro panel on the inside facing area so that you can store items inside of them.
If you want additional photos I can remove them and take maybe some better shots.

I have an OEM Sami set of those. Just a lucky find. I haven't seen them befor or since.
-
Warbird, thats cool and yep that sure is a lucky find! I didn't know that Samurai ever had these. Did Bestop make them? I had these in a 78 Jeep CJ 7 that I owned. I liked them alot and they were handy to stoe stuff in for quick storage.
These are too big dimensionally for the Samuri configuration and could fit a little better. I will cut them down to fit if I don't find something for the Sammi just because I do like them. These were made by Bestop.
I really like the back door storage the Brd Hunter has too. I was hoping he would reply if this was a stock Tracker item. If it is then I will start watfhing for 1 in the various classified sections of the different Zuk forums.
But then maybe Rampage will reply too and comment on these items if they intend to make them available.
THANKS!
-
Tux:
We have no idea if you could get that on a stock Tracker or not. My cousin had it on a 2-door Tracker that he rolled so we pulled it off before it went to the wrecker. We thought it was a Bestop creation but after talking to them at Moab it sounds like they never made anything like that.
-
Thanks Drone.... I just gotta keep lookin... I don't really need it with a toolbox bolted down where the rear seat once was for storage. It just looks kewl and handy. ;)

Rather than continuing to pull this off in a different direction I started a new post here:
