Title: Rear Trans seal
Post by: grousehunter on April 27, 2012, 12:45:21 PM
I am replacing the rear transmission seal in my 1987 Suzuki. I ordered one from Napa and the one I got looks nothing like the one I had. Anybody tell me if they will interchange or should I reorder.

The new one is a SKF 12700 ( Napa number )

Got it in, the seal that is........also the transmission..took about 1 1/2 hours and the bottom is buttoned up, the only thing left is the starter. Time will tell if I damaged anything inside the trans running it dry.
