Can anyone tell me what the freon R134 capacity is for a 98 tracker 16v, the lable on the core support is trashed, so not sure how much..... Any Help??

If empty, like completely vaccumed out it's just over 1 lb. Careful not to overfill it, I did once and the sound the compressor made was SCAREY!

Thanks, didn't think it was a whole lot, might check the junk yards to see if there are any there, so I can get the exact amount because the person that I get it done with his machine you just punch in the amount & it fills it to that ... I was hoping someone on here would just open there hood & read the lable

Thanks for the info. need to get it charged, starting to push the mid 90s in Phoenix.... but then again that's considered cool when it's 120*+ outside....LOL

Buddy, that is HOT! But I bet you'd really feel miserable if the humidity was 90% along with that 90 degrees. That's why I bent over backwards to make my turbo work with my AC. I can take the heat but the humidity kills me.

Ya but it's a dry heat....LOL    Oooo wait a minute just remembered...June/July/August/Septenber is our monsoon seasion, so the temp cools off to the low 100s but the humidity goes up.

UP is a relative thing there, from single digit anything is up!!
