Hey folks. Working on the installing the YJ's on the back corners of my Sami. Wondering if anyone can offer up the hole-to-hole measurements on both shackles from a manuf. kit so I can build them.
On a side note, I noticed of the 4 "YJ" springs I bought from a member here, 2 of them are 4-pack leafs and the other 2 are 5-pack with the bottom-most cut in half... or 4.5 pack. I am not sure which direction to mount these 4.5" odd ball leafs... or if they should be on the front or rear.
My goal here is as soft of a ride as possible. I removed the 3" Calmini lift leafs... horribly stiff ride.
TIA

The half-pack is for the rear and supposed to be mounted with the longer part facing towards the back. This is to help deal with axle wrap without effecting the ride. I have seen with muscle car spring packs they have a similar setup but on the top going forward for the same action. I would scrap it and go with a real traction bar instead but it's better then nothing.
