Need to know what socket size fits a 16v cylinder head bolt. It's at the junk yard and a 98 Tracker. They appear to be a 12 point. All the 16v's I've worked on were 8mm socket head bolts. Thanks in advance

12 point 10mm socket for anyone who cares.

Good to know! I have a socket set that I keep in my Tracker with the standard mm options. Not quite as nice as a full kit but it means I'm never without the minimum tools to tear something apart.

Bring a BIG breaker bar. The engine I'm building at the moment, the head bolts were so tight it snapped a 3/8th extension and I had to buy 1/2" 10mm 12 point to break them loose! ??? The new head bolts I purchased are allen, hope there as strong.
