OK so i was out in my 86sami on the trail today lots of rocks and very bumpy, my clutch became very stiff and was making a good amount of noise. I have tried adjusting in and out, but have had no luck. the clutch isnt even a year old. any ideas?

Throwout bearing?
-
My thoughts exactly, but havent been able to reply all afternoon.....
Its most likely the pilot bearing or throwout bearing. did you replace either of them?
does the sound change when you push in the clutch or let it out? more info may help us diagnose it easier.

its only when the peddle moves. like something is rubbing

Cable could be going. But still maybe the TO bearing.
