I found a set of ends front & rear does not give year in add, I need to know if samurai end will work with my 95 sidekick ?

They will basically both work in your front end (with modifications). Your rear end is larger.

I would like to stay with the Tack / SK if I could find any. there doesn't seem to be alot of them around, are there any other front and rear combo's that will work without to many mod's.

Just guessing from your other posts.
- You have a 95 Sidekick
- It has an automatic, you want to convert to 4wd
- You are familar with modifying vehicles
- Not many parts in Panama
The easiest conversion would be to find a wrecked/rolled Tracker/Sidekick up through 98, and use parts off that. Buying all the parts to make the conversion can get expensive, it may be cheaper to just get a 4wd kicker.
You will need
- Front diff with CV's both sides
- Diff mounts
- Transmission with Transfer case
- I believe Transfer case mount is different
- Both drivelines

but I'll figure something out, wouldn't be the first time that someone told me that won't fit in there, and then TADA I do burnout in front of them to show that it will work :laugh:

I would be one of the last to tell someone it can't be done, or it is a bad idea. I can come up with options on how to make the change over, but my ideas are based on what I can find here. The parts I listed are going to be needed, some substitutions can be done (but you said you wanted to stay Track/Kicker).
I converted a Samurai rear end to an IFS front diff housing for my Tracker (I had/have an aluminum one to copy for measurements).
Samurai transfer cases can be fitted for use in Kickers.
Samurai front ends can and are being fitted for use under Kickers. Calmini even makes a kit.
Drive lines can be adapted.
Mounts can be fabbed.
It is tough making suggestions to others because we do not all have the same abilities or equipment. No one wants to lead someone into starting a project they are not able to complete.

tnks brd, I'm still holding out for the wrecked kicker. on the other hand I've seen alot about the Toyota swap online, that might be easier to find. Right now I'm mad at it because I was bouncing around on the hiway when the hole back of my top came blowing in >:( , got out in the rain and tried to put it back, but the rear corner peices broke and some of the plastic peices that hold the rear side and back broke too :'(

We must have the same tops. Mine has been shrinking and broke the back right cup that holds it down. Now left cup is starting to crack. I had a used cup sewn in the right side, lasted about two weeks. I will be getting a new top before winter.

found a 2002 XL-7 with all the 4X4 parts in it, will these fit my 1995 js mine has the 4x4 front rotors on it, its wierd it looks like it was a 4X4 but the axle and tansfer case is missing.

Use everything if you want a major project.
XL7's are wider then 95 Trackers
The transfer case should bolt up to your transmission, if you remove the tail shaft housing and cut the tailshaft so they can bolt together. The transfer case mounting crossmember will be too wide to fit (modify it). The transfer case mounts are same as the Trackers,
The front diff will work. I believe the front diff two side mounts are different for the XL7. You will probably need to fab those up. The back front diff mount should fit.
The CV's are too wide (both sides)
The motor, transmission, and transfer case will all fit BARELY. I do not recommend doing this unless you have all the wiring (getting the entire donor vehicle would be best). You will still need 89-98 Tracker CV joints. Or you could modify the CV shafts to make them shorter (I do not have any experience doing this).

HAY ALL, just as an update I found a 96 tracker four wheel drive, for sale for parts :) I found out the sidekick I have has a bent front frame right were the strut tower is, ( even the strut tower is twisted ) but I figure I can switch body's and motors with the tracker. what do you think? :-\

A 96 is OBD2, so there is differences in the wiring, compared to your 95. But if you put your body on the 96 frame and use all your 95 wiring, then there shouldn't be any wiring mods needed.

No. If yours doesn't have ABS, then you don't have any wiring to hook up to the ABS on the 96. The braking will work just like it does currently on your 95.
96 trackicks (both 2 and 4 doors) only had rear ABS, unless it was a sidekick sport (sidekick sports were only available as 4 doors). The sidekick sports had 4 wheel ABS. If it is a sidekick sport, then you don't want it. The frames are different and I am pretty sure your 95 body will not fit, without some tweaking.
You never have said, or I have missed it, do you have a 2 door or 4 door trackick?

Mine is a two door bent frame little tire eater, the tracker is a 96 16 valve and mine is only an 8 valve, but I will be swaping the engine over too, I think I'm going to take my time over the winter, and take the 96 body off the frame. and work on lifting it and painting the frame and axle housings, just realy detail the crap out it while I have the time. I can still drive mine the way it is for now, just need to bie tire every couple of months.
