No success searching for an answer. I'm new to the forum here. I have a recurring problem with Samurai stalling and flooding after hitting a hard bump (speed bump or sharp dip in the road). Immediately stalls and you can smell gas. Flooding from carb overflow lines. Restarts after I pull fuel line and crank engine for 1 or 2 minutes. I have replaced fuel filter and run carb and fuel line cleaner through the gas tank. I thought maybe the float was sticking. Saw exact same thread on another forum from 2 years ago, but neither of the 2 having the same problem got a concrete answer. Any suggestions? Thanks from a newbie!

Adjust float? Rebuild carb while at it?
Good luck.

Float sounds likely. Good place to start anyway
