Ok so I couldn't figure out why my rear diff kept popping. I thought maybe the auto locker. Well I got underneath it just now. And where the yolk connects to the rear diff the plate on the diff is loose. What do I do?!

If I understand you correctly: there's a big nut holding the flange (?) to the diff (or something to tighten up), need to drop the shaft first to access. Maybe change u-joints since you're there and they've been taking a beating with those pops.

Are you talking about the dust cover? just silicon it, weld it , jb weld it, or just tear it out of there.

if it's the flange your talking about that's a whole different story,do you have some red loc-tite ,an air impact, and a punch, a floor jack, and a couple of jack stands?

what exactly do you mean by loose, and what component is moving in which direction?
