I know what its supposed to be however, my cam sprocket is mounted backwards. How does this affect valve timing... they are obviously not exactly 180 degrees apart. Apparently I didn't notice this last go around... but the engine did run ...and good as far as i could tell lol.
This is a used head so no telling the history.

I don't think it doesn't make the slightest bit of difference - what's important is the position of the cam, relative to the crank - there are two keyways and one is 180* away from the E (Exhaust) mark, whilst the other is 180* away from the I (Intake) mark - if it'll make you happy, unbolt the cam wheel, pull it off, reposition it and put the bolt back in.

Yeah ...that does make sense. Guess i will sleep better tonight knowing its correct!
