had some spare time to dig though the net and came apon this:

Interesting. I would have never thought to try to adapt a tranny from a Volvo.  :o

Hey Guys
    If the pics are correct that is not an automatic, it is a 4 speed standard with a laycock overdrive. The o/d probly works on third and fourth so it's like a 6 speed manual.
    It would be interesting to know more as they are a killer tough trans.
