I think it would look great if painted to match.

I am looking at that hardtop as well, not a fan of the boxy standard hardtop.

Well, I do find the extra space inside is great and you can also carry stuff on the roof. This is especially nice when we do trails that take several days. This was a 3 day off road trip. We even have a compressor refrigerator in there and tent, stove sleeping bags and plenty of food and water.

I like the profile of your hardtop, the back door lays down at more of an angle than the rallytop
-
i really like this top but have no clue where to find one
-
if u cant find 'em, grind 'em!!!!!!!!!! Lol. that would look different!
-
lol but i want this top for my samy

I think that was a custom made top.

It's a euro market top. When I was stationed in Germany (~2000) a friend of mine had a top like the one on the black Samurai. I believe a German company made it.
-
so i wont get a top like that lol

Yeah, we're doing a three-day camping trip, the first with the Sidekick, and I'm thinking we're going to have to be very crafty packing. I've got a BajaRack currently on my Subaru, and would love to have a way to mount it on my Kick. Need to get a rack made, or get the hard top.

Yes, I've had my eye on that for some time, and it'd exactly what I want.
Headed up to the Overland Rallies & Workshops in Leavenworth, WA.

That looks like a fun weekend. A few things I have added to my Tracker to enhance the multi-day trips is a compressor refridgerator. It allows plenty of food without the mess and cooler space hogging ice and eventually you are going to run out of ice and ruin your food. http://www.waeco.com.au/products.asp?id=21&catId=6&subCatId=10&subCatId2=12 (http://www.waeco.com.au/products.asp?id=21&catId=6&subCatId=10&subCatId2=12) Secondly I added a expandable storage that I made to give us a second level of storage in the back. We put the heavy items on the floor and the lighter items on the rack. You can see the rack in the above photograph. Also I added a second gel battery strapped to the floor behind the passenger seat. You need it to be a gel battery to be safe in a roll over. Dripping battery acid would not be good. The auxilary battery ruins a inverter for 120 volt stuff and provide extra capacity for the two winches as well as extended fridge running time.

It is very costly, and that is if you ever get your rack, i know several people who have been waiting months and have not seen hide nor hair of their racks, and never get a straight answer from Calmini.

Seeing your rid makes me want to sell my Jeep and get another Tracker. What gas mileage do you get from this rig?
