BRD HNTR's build has where he build the winch mount then a bumper skin that bolted onto it.  Most people are placing them in the bumpers.

Are you trying to make your winch recessed?

no i am building the plate and then building the bumper off of it like a tube bumper or something like that i just really want the winch to be on there for now im tired of having friends get stuck and having to call another person to get them unstuck haha

BRD HNTR built a plate as part of his front bumper build at http://www.zukiworld.com/forum/build-diaries-how-to-diy/tracker-2x4-rockers-frnt-bmper-4-dr-sprngs-lwered-frnt-diff- (http://www.zukiworld.com/forum/build-diaries-how-to-diy/tracker-2x4-rockers-frnt-bmper-4-dr-sprngs-lwered-frnt-diff-)$30-steel-frnt-diff/
