Title: ecm delete?

Wanting to swap a 1.6 from an 89 kick into my 87 sammi. Can this be done using carbs and deleting the ECM all together? Do they make a vac. distributor?
Its been 12 yrs since my last zuk build/owned one to play with, so I have been out of the loop for awhile.

The 89 and 90 trackicks have vac. adv. distributors.  You could just swap the samurai distributor and housing onto the back of the 89 trackick head too.
Are you planning on just running the samurai carb?  If so, then you could just swap the whole samurai intake onto the trackick head.  Then you wouldn't have to run any of the 1.6 stuff (other than the block and head).

My Sammi carb is shot. I know i dont want the stock carb, I was running the toyota Carrolla carb on my old Zuk but those are pretty high dollar from what I have priced. Seems like the HD carb might be a viable swap? Where do you buy the mounting kit/hardware?
This build will not be for rock crawling, mainly flat land/mud/beach and street use

I think you are asking about the harley davidson carb.  If so, I think ZOR (zuks offroad) sells the kit.
