Does anyone know the best way to remove the metal support for the plastic molding on the rocker panel below the doors? I've taken the plastic molding off already but the metal support seems to be on there pretty good either glued or welded, I can't tell. Though I don't see any welds. Let me know if anyone has removed it successfully.
Thanks

When i did mine i removed the plastic panels then i just took a flat head screwdriver and started slowly just working it behind the support. Its tacked every 6'' to 8'' when i would find a spot that was tack i would just break the weld with the screw driver and a hammer. A little tuff on the metal work but i was planning on redoing that anyway.

I removed mine the same way.

If you have access to a die grinder with a cutting wheel or a spot weld remover drill bit these both do a nice clean job with a minimal amount of body work to remain.

The spot welds are there and you have too look really close to see them.
I used a spot weld cutter. Just chuck it up in your drill and you are set. Super simple to use.
Cheap = $5
Worked great and is made exactly for this type of stuff.
