Title: Custom made auto cables
Post by: Zukipilot on July 25, 2012, 04:50:06 AM
Where can I go to have some custom automotive cables... With all the custom engine/axle set ups we have in Suzuki's, someone out there should be able to point me in the right direction.....

What sort of cables are we talking about?  Bowden type cables - handbrake, clutch, etc.?  Electrical looms?

Used to be a guy here would make any clutch or handbrake cable you wanted - take the old one and he'd match it - or show hiom what you wanted and he'd build it - really weird guy, slept all day and only worked after 5:30 pm.

It's like a brake cable. I ended up making one out of the old sleeve, a bicycle brake cable and some heavy gauge electrical crimp connectors.  :P It was latch release for a friends VR4 Spyder.
