i bought a 92 sammi for what i thought was reasonable about 3-4 months ago drove it for 3 days and thats it i swopped efi to a weber carb and had ecm rebuilt first problem was the fuel issue and i fixed that with the carb setup and drove it for 3 days then lost spark so i had ecm rebuilt because i knew that was the fuel issue from the start figured it probably shorted in another spot causing no spark but it did not fix the problem any ideas and is there anyone near me that would let me borrow there ecm to try and make sure the rebuild was even succesful on me ecm and i could also use a schematic for the ignition system thx for the help

Who did you have rebuild the ECM?
Wiring diagrams can be found at suzukiinfo.com
The ECM going bad can cause a no spark issue. But it can also be caused by a bad ignitor, distributor, or coil.

If so, you don't need the ECU.

maybe for timing control?
What fuel pump is this vehicle running? an EFI pump will totally overwhelm the float in the Weber.

i did the carb swap it ran for 3 day and died no spark sent ecm to someone from the forum with good bacground put it in and still no spark

As mentioned you can not use an in tank pump with the Webel. Way to much pressure. Without sounding like I am insulting you I won't even ask why go from EFI to a carb that won't work on angles. On your model you do need an ECU to read the halo effect to fire the TBI. With the TBI removed and not having a spark indicates you may not have 12 v at the coil and distributor.
Have you checked the ignition fuse? Located on the lower bank of fuses. factory is 15 amp red fuse. Bad fuse= no voltage going to coil or distributor. A simple check with key on should get you a 12v reading on the black/white wire going to coil pack and distributor (same wire). I have seen some weird issues were the fuse is good but with the fuse block removed so I could read voltage on the back busses, no voltage coming out on the black/white wire. Bent the tabs on the fuse to dig into the buss and then got voltage. Hope it is something simple for you to fix.

i have an inline regulator to knock the pressure down and it has power to the coil it is not sending a signal to fire the plugs and i swapped it to carburetor because the ecm was bad and it was $200 cheaper to get the carb setup and know it would run than hope it would run with anothere ecm

Can you get a "stand alone" distributor from a carbed Sami to replace the one you have now?
