My rims are off of an old ford truck, i read that they should fit but was wondering if the tires would rub anywhere. Its a stock ZR2 tracker.

235s will rub on the inner FRAME during tight turns, even with a 2 inch lift.
Stock Tracker rim back spacing is around 4.25 inches. Stock ZR2 rims are 6" wide.
So if the old Ford rims you are using are different than above (back spacing or width) you will probably experience more tire rub. If they are 8" wide rims you may even get some rubbing on the top of the rear fender during compression. On top of this is the plastic fender cladding on the ZR2 model Trackers which reduces the wheel well openings slightly.
235s fit on the stock Tracker rims just fine.

mine fitted 235/75/15 with my 2" lift with no issue, got two other guys in town with stock trackers with those tire size and no issue either, depends if your coil springs have weeken or not.

My 235 75 15's rub at full turns. That's with a 2" spacer lift.

I've had a 2" lift on two of my 2nd Gen Trackers, running stock size rims (15X5.5) with 235/75/15 tires and had rub on the inside frame at full lock with all of them including: Mchelin LTXs, Courser AT2s, BFG A/T KOs and the Courser C/ts I currently run. The BFGs were probably the heaviest rub because of their side lugs.
-
Yep, they rub on the FRAME. I've got the Tracker with BFG's that nprecon speaks of and the only rub I have with 235/75R15's are when the back of the tire that goes inward during a hard turn makes contact with the frame. 95% of the time I have no issues and it only does it when I'm turning hard like in a parking lot or directly next to where I'm trying to turn into.
No damage to the tires and just a "shiny" spot on the frame where the rub is.

Yeah! frame... not fender. Thanks AJM!

ive checked with my buddys and they all got aftermarket rims, so the offset might be different
