Title: Help! tracker 16v head removal(Monmouth, OR)
Post by: KJMac on August 19, 2012, 11:13:26 PM
I have a '95 tracker engine in my '94 sidekick that hasn't really ran real great since I bought it. My problem is due to back injuries and my MS progressing, I can't do all the work to remove it. Is somebody willing to help me with this project or do it for me for a ridiculously small fee? I know your time and travel needs to be covered, Im still waiting for my ssdi hearing and would love to pay what it is worth but a single income is killing us!
I know this is a great place to find good Suzuki mechanics, if any would like to earn some extra money you can pm me. Thank you!

Kevin.

3 years ago I could have helped out, but now work is so busy I am at 48 hours in 4 days and 2 left to work just this week. Not to mention kids sports, house remodel and a very demanding Audi kick. I will link this to a local club though. Maybe you will get a couple guys willing to help.

being in monmouth is the problem. i wouldnt mind helping you tinker with it if the commute wasnt 30 minuits. do you know that it's the head? what exactly are the symptoms? i might be up to helping a little, if you can wait a week and a half till the wife and kids are back to school.

Thanks guys!
I sure appreciative it and under stand the circumstances. I'm going to start tinkering on it but not sure how far I will get?? Lol.
I'm trying to get it done before deer season. Like I said, I could come up with some money to help compensate for gas and time.

It is in my garage out of the elements with plenty of room to work on it.

Jason if you have the time to help when your wife and kids are back to school, let me know and I will let you know where it is in the process.

Since I put this engine in the head Gasket has leaked oil out the front and side of the engines. 2 cylinders are getting some water. The over flow tank is bubbling at idle and eventually blows the lid off! It has always used very little water. A quart every oil change!

Thanks again guys.
