Hello,
Can you tell me if you have picked out a specific tire in that size? What wheels are you planning on running? What if any lift do you have on your GV? More information is never a bad thing when you post a question out here.
Here are my thoughts based on what I ASSUME to be your parameters of stock suspension and stock wheels: A HT type of tire should work no problem, an AT tire should work too unless it has a lot of lugs on the outside edge of the tire. A mud tire would potentially cause the most issues, but only at full lock on the lower control arm. Everywhere else it should clear.
I say should; none of us can be 100% sure. I base it on my experience with my 2011 GV running 245-70-17 tires on aftermarket wheels. I could just as easily run the same size tires without my lift and not have any more issues. My only issue with rubbing occurs at the lower control arm because I am running a very aggresive tire with lots of side lugs. If I had a more mild tire, it would not hit at all.
The tire you propose is only about 29" tall. Mine is about 30.6" tall. My tire is wider too at 245mm vs. 235mm for the tire size you have selected.
What are your plans? Anything else planned?

Thanx guys for the feed back,it is a stock truck just wanted to know if they were ok i am planning on running AT,will change my speedometer, will harm the tranny thax.

Hello,
It will change your speedometer/odometer. By my calculations on just the size of the tires (all manufacturers tires are not standard) you will be off a little more than 1%.
So, if your speedometer says 100mph, you will actually be going about 101.2mph.
inicated 50mph on the speedo will translate to 50.6mph.
For me, this is not a big deal and well within what I would consider normal. For comparison, mine is off by about 7%. At 100mph on the speedo, I'm actually traveling at 107mph. 50mph is 53.5mph...
Tranny? I wouldn't think it would even know there is a change.
