Title: Samurai Halftrack (concept)
Post by: warbird on August 28, 2012, 07:15:38 AM
Someone mentioned they like theamed builds. So I really ran with it and came up with this! A potentially buildable Sami based mini WWII halftrack (using a modified Bobcat track instead of the obvious Mattracks).

Now you just need to get a LWB to build it out of.  :D

Actually it's based on a SWB (streched out the back).

I had this same IDEA come to me also,
I got the first Idea from the Old "Romel's Ride" model kit and thought it would be cool idea as a "Bonzi Bomb"
Then while at work we had a couple of these Mini Marooka's on the job. They have rubber tracks about the right demensions,
and the drive is via a Hydalic pump on a Kubota or Izuzu Motor. So it would be easy to set up the drive line as it's all hydalic hoses
out of the main pump.

Go with it,
