Title: Looking for my first tracker

I am trying to purchase my first Geo tracker.  I have found a 95 with 130xxx miles, 2wd, 5spd, some slight body damage on the passenger door, but otherwise mechanically sound and good condition.  I have a 1993 miata he is interested in swapping straight up for, and my miata is worth maybe $2000 to the right buyer--it has "body damage" as well.  Would it be a fair deal or should I ask for something else on his end of the trade?

I would look for something different, unless you have the components to swap over to 4x4 already.

I have to agree with Talon, keep looking and get a 4x4. You should be able to find one that would be a good trade.
