A 96 to 98 third is a direct bolt in.  Any other years will require mods for the third to work in yours.
Yours should have 5.12 gears, so you would need a front third front a 96-98 4 door (which all should have 5.12s), or a 96-98 2 door with a 5 speed manual tranny (which should have 5.12s).

They have 22 spline sidegears, vs. your 26.  So you would either have to swap your sidegears in, or swap different axleshafts in.
